It is true that economic thought of any time period is organically connected with its political trajectories. But there is no guarantee that a popular movement from below will automatically lead to a basic transformation in the dominant language of economics. In my opinion, an alternative imagination of the language of economics embedded in the everyday life of the people requires a cultural revolution in the perspective of the subaltern classes.
