Domestic Electricity Tariff in Andhra Pradesh

An analysis of the distribution of power consumption and tariff burdens in Andhra Pradesh reveals that high-cost power is procured to meet fast-growing consumption in the higher slabs. Meanwhile, poor households are affected both by a disproportionate tariff burden and wide disparities in electricity consumption.
