Factual Inaccuracies

This is to bring to your notice certain factually incorrect observations made with reference to my case (Amritashva Kamal vs JNU and Anr; WP(C) 4980/2007) by Santhosh S and Joshil K Abraham, authors of the article, “Caste Injustice in Jawaharlal Nehru University” published in EPW (26 June).

To begin with, the Delhi High Court judgment pronounced by Justice S Ravindra Bhatt was not advisory in nature but was a judicial order, which directed the Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU) administration to admit me.
