GNFC Aborted Projects JOINTLY promoted by the Gujarat government and Gujarat State Fertiliser Corporation, Gujarat Narmada Valley Fertilisers Co (GNFC) is today one of the largest producers of nitrogenous fertilisers in the country. Like the river, the company has grown by steadily moving downstream; beginning with ammonia and fertilisers, GNFC has set up a series of industrial chemical projects along the way. The company today boasts of a well integrated chemicals and fertilisers complex and, in addition to urea, also produces methanol, formic acid, acetic acid and nitric acid.
