Tamil Language Press I HAVE read with interest the commentary on Tamil newspapers by Robin Jeffrey (February 8), but I am disappointed. The piece is shallow and outdated. It fails to provide any new insight and has not made any attempt to understand the socio-political currents that have led to the decline of the dominance of the elitist, brahmin press. It is more a rehash of what has already been said elsewhere .
