Defining Union Work THE article 'Defining Union Work' (July 27) by Vrijendra ostensibly appearing as a review or analysis of a Munibai High Court ruling in favour of Blue Star, setting aside an Industrial Court order regarding the right of N Vasudevan (our working president) to do trade union work during office hours is in effect an attempt on the part of the author lo denigrate trade unions in general and independent unions in particular. We are concerned at the innuendos aimed at the Blue Star Workers Union and its officebearers. We disagree with several other formulations propounded by the author.
