Further modernisation of the caustic soda plant is under way and so also a substantial increase in the production capacity of lindane, while at Ankleshwar the existing capacity of formaldehyde and acetaldehyde respectively of 6,000 tonnes and 2,500 tonnes is being increased to 12,000 tonnes and 5,500 tonnes, and this is to materialise during the last quarter of 1992. To ensure regular supply of raw material a distillery with a capacity of 15 million litres per annum is being established by way of backward integration.
