What this implies, structurally, is that the distinction between labour -ntensive and capital-intensive industries seen in the clothing industry up to the mid-seventies is swiftly vanishing, given the T and C's massive capitalisation requirements. One that is becoming even more so in the nineties with the vast extension of computerised operations is the clothing industry wedded as they are to the revolutionary strides in telecommunications technology.
