Agriculture Neglect of Pulses AT the recent meeting of the Indian Pulses Development Council the Agriculture Minister lamented the declining trend in pulses production. This is not the first time that pulses have generated despair. For decades now, pulses production has hardly shown any substantial or sustained increase. What is surprising is that so little has been done to increase the production of pulses.
