Romesh Thapar BY the time this column appears, I do not know what the state of the business community will be, but at this moment it is running scared that a series of mafia take-overs are planned with funds imported from abroad in the name of non-resident Indians. A loophole in the Budget about such 'investments' has been exploited to launder black money directly from India and to keep it poli- tically active. The Finance Minister is making reassuring noises, but we were not born yesterday.
