Janata party as a sign of its authenticity. On April 3, while the national executive of the Janata party under Chandra Shekhar is expected to end- orse its parliamentary board's decision banning the participation of its legislators and office-bearers in RSS activities, Raj Narain is to have a convention of his own (revived) Janata (S). The Jana Sangh elements of the Janata are also scheduled to meet immediately after the national executive meeting of the Janata, no doubt to announce that they are the 'real' Janata and distinguish themselves with yet another mark of authenticity. But when the dust finally settles down, the only winners to emerge from the current struggles in the Janata are likely to be Indira Gandhi and the RSS.
