THE following is the speech delivered by Shri T S Santhanam, Chairman, at the Twenty-fourth Annual General Meeting of the Company held on 12th June, 1978, at Madras. Dear Friends : I am happy to welcome you to the 24th Annual General Meeting of your Company. The Directors' Report, the audited Balance Sheet as on 31st December, 1977 and the Profit and Loss Account for the year ended 31st December, 1977 have been sent to you and with your permission, I shall take them as read.
