With More Profitable Product-Mix Hansavivek BOMBAY DYEING shows a marginal increase in gross profit despite a sharp rise in sales' Higher sales have been achieved, mainly by changing the product- mix in favour of larger quantities of higher priced fabrics through the installation of new Sulzer weaving machines. Quality of cloth produced on these machines has proved to be of the highest international standard. The company is, therefore, negotiating for another lot of these machines to replace the very old powerlooms which are still left in its textile mills. The total value of new machinery added last year was Rs 273 crores
