projects at the same time and priority is proposed to he accorded to Vijayana- gar over Vizag on the ground that the latter will be designed to produce flat products of which there will be no shortage till 1985-86, once Bhilai and Bolcaro reach the 4 million tonne stage. But in the case of shaped products which Vijayanagar will produce, substantial shortages are expected from 1978-79 onwards. The decision, therefore, is to go ahead with the preparation of the detailed project report for Vijayanagar and hold it up in the ease of Vizag project.
