PANYAM Cements has expressed satisfaction over the substitution of CACO by Cement Corporation. It says that, with the latter taking over the functions of the former from Janu-ary 1968, the freight pool has been more effectively operated and the sys-tem of issuing releases against reserved categories has been rationalised. The marketing zone of the factory was also re-demarcated on an equitable basis, and, with these measures, the order position and despatches have improved considerably. In common with other cement units, the company has asked for increase
