Since then, however, this level of production has been maintained, and, with the liberalisation of licensing policy, the raw material position has substantially eased. In addition to this a portion of the existing capacity is being utilised for a higher volume of production of 22 and 33 KV cables which were being imported till the company started manufacturing them. The company has been allowed even to increase its existing capacity for 22 and 33 KV PILC cables to meet the increased demand, and the Rajasthan Finance Corporation has agreed in principle to give assistance for the expansion of the project.
