MAHARASHTRA Dhulia Adivasis' Continuing Struggle Nirmala Sathe SHELTI is a small village like any other small village on the banks of the river Tapi, in Shahada taluka of Dhulia district of Maharashtra. The adivasi landless labourers live in 'bhila- ties in huts and nearby are to be found the huge houses of the rich farmers. Year in and year out the landless labourers work in the fields on very poor wages. The fields ripen, wealth accumulates in the houses of the rich farmers and the poverty of the landless adivasis goes on increasing.
