Industrial Change in Punjab and Haryana M L Pandit Since Independence the region comprising the present states of Punjab and Haryana has had a fairly good record of success in the fields of agriculture and industry. Various factors responsible for the growth of agriculture in this region have already been discussed by several scholars; but those behind the indus- trial growth still remain to be explored.
